Executive Briefings on Good Health Literacy Practices (GHLPs)
The Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA) Annual Health Literacy Conference attracts health literacy professionals worldwide–and now there’s a just-in-time (JIT) executive briefing program just for you.
Our executive briefings focus on breakthroughs and best practices in key areas of healthcare and human services, including new imperatives for health literacy, plain language, and cultural competence (HL/PL/CC) to improve real-world data (RWD), real-world evidence (RWE), and real-world results (RWR) in patient populations.
The healthcare, education, and social services sectors are shifting from volume-to-value (V2V) under value-based healthcare (VBHC). That means more top officers than ever will need to understand why health literacy, plain language, and cultural competence are essential to program, provider, and product performance, outcomes, and impacts.
This is especially true as Very Important Top Officers (VITOs) take on greater risk and dial up guarantees in support of value-based contracting (VBC) and outcomes-based compensation (OBC).
Whether you and your team work directly with the public or behind the scenes (e.g., in research, education, consulting, professional roles, and/or policymaking), the IHA’s executive briefings are sure to help.
As a chief officer, you will walk away with a market-leading understanding of the tie-in between health literacy, plain language, and cultural competence AND favorable economic, clinical, and humanistic outcomes (ECHOs)–and an action plan for essential organizational development.
You’ll get the insight, tools, and skills to lead the field in patient empowerment.
What To Budget
To ensure your budget covers critical expenses and the possibility of changes in project scope and direction, please set aside a reserve of 35% over the basic project fee:
- An extra 25% for critical expenses
- An extra 10% for changes in project scope and direction
That is, budget 135% of the basic project fee. That way, you have all the funding you need to ask for extras along the way.
